Genetics
Anything that is genetic is inherited. It is information that is passed from parents to offspring through genes in sperm and egg cells. Genetics is also the branch of biology that studies variations in organisms cause by differences in genes. It involves studying how genes produce characteristics and how these characteristics are passed on from parents to their children.
