Tumour
A tumour is a lump of cells forming an abnormal growth with no useful purpose to the body. A tumour is clearly distinguishable from its surroundings, often compressing or displacing other organs or structures. Cells of a benign tumour will not spread and will not cause cancer. Cells of a malignant tumour can spread through the body, this is cancer.
