Fallopian tubes
Fallopian tubes are the two tubes that extend from the top of the uterus to the ovaries. The function of the fallopian tube is to pick up an egg from the ovaries, provide a location for fertilisation, and act as an incubator, nourishing the embryo for the first couple of days of life, before it is implanted in the uterus.
