CPD for teachers: Meet the Scientist

Healing burns victims: from laboratory bench to operating table Professor Harry Navsaria / Mr Simon Myers January 26th 2010

Prof Navsaria is a skin researcher working to grow skin grafts from patients' stem cells. Mr Myers is the plastic surgeon who puts his work into practice. Hear them talk about the development of this new way of healing burns victims, from the initial research to the applications. They will also discuss how they hope to further improve the technology.

Your visit is free and lasts ninety minutes.

Centre of the Cell: The story so far

Since our opening in September 2009, we have had well over 2000 visitors, with hundreds more already booked in for this term!
