A nasal spray containing medicines. Lindsay uses this every day for 2 weeks.

Four weeks after they signed the consent forms, Lindsay and Matt go to the clinic to start their IVF treatment. They see the gynaecologist and nurse co-ordinator. It is day 21 of Lindsay’s menstrual cycle, and she is given a nasal spray which contains special medicines to stop her normal menstrual cycle. This is to stop her ovaries releasing any eggs. She will have to use the nasal spray every day for 2 weeks.
