Meet the Scientist / Meet the Pod
Sessions are held at the Blizard Institute, 4 Newark Street, Whitechapel.

Meet the Scientist
'Meet the Scientist' is a programme of early evening events designed to provide the opportunity for teachers to meet leading scientists and explore cutting edge biomedical research.
Sessions comprise a talk from one of our researchers and some Q&A time. They usually last around two hours, and the focus is on current research.
Sessions run from 5.30 - 7.30pm.
June events
We do not run teacher-focussed seminar events in June. The Meet the Scientist programme will return in July with Professor Harshad Navsaria, Burns Expert. They will run monthly from September 2010 until May 2011.
Teacher pre-visits: Meet the Pod
Teacher pre-visit sessions run on the first term-time Thursday of every month.
Sessions will cover visit logistics, risk assessments and health & safety, as well as giving you all a good chance to play the games, see the films, and get a feel for what your pupils will get from a visit.

CPD certificates
Following recent feedback from participants, we now offer certificates so that you can keep a record of your CPD attendance. We welcome sixth form students at these sessions.
