Hexa-cultures of Ovarian Cancer
Joash Joy
Multicellular model of ovarian cancer consisting of six cell types, namely adipocytes, fibroblasts, mesothelial cells, cancer cells (shown in red), macrophages (shown in white) and genetically modified T cells (shown in green). In blue is extracellular matrix fibres produced by the cells. These models developed in the laboratory replicate the features of patient tumours and can be utilised to investigate strategies to improve the activity of genetically engineered T cells in tumours.
