Be a Scientist and STEM Pod Experience

Most suitable for ages 8-14

We want you to have a go at being a scientist with us by taking on some of the weird and wonderful roles that scientists do in the world. Science isn’t only about pouring test tubes in the lab, so come and learn about how it’s used to invent new prosthetics for people who need a replacement limb, or how the emergency services decide what sort of help you might need when you call them. You’ll get a chance to try out five different unusual science jobs with us to get you thinking about just how many careers involve science and scientists!
