Family Workshop

To gain a deeper understanding of how to create successful family learning sessions and find out more about how to explain different concepts in fun and engaging ways the team observed and evaluated Centre of the Cell’s holiday workshops for families. They enjoyed training with the Head of Learning and Project Manager to develop practical workshop leading and presenting skills.

They explored the Royal London Hospital Museum and Archives and the Imperial War Museum to research WW1 medical history and create the family workshop ‘War in the Wards’.

This workshop was tested with families at local Idea Stores before it was delivered to families visiting Centre of the Cell.
